[just a quick warning about this blog..sometimes i'm too delirious to edit or check stuff so please bear with me through this journey :)]
so although i knew a few things about ywam beforehand..no one ever mentioned how busy this place can get sheesh! monday-friday could go like so: i wake up at 6am for breakfast~!, 8-12 is worship/class, 12-1 lunch, 1-2:30 class (we started small groups today- divinely orchestrated by God without a doubt..so excited!), 3-5 work duty (i clean the preschool), 5-6 dinner, 6-8 sometimes you have fellowship with your school, then by 9 or 10pm i'm in bed~!!! weekends are free but sometimes schools/friends wanna hang out and sundays its tough getting shuttles around to local churches in the morning (they encourage you to go to the community for sunday service...75% of the sales in the local shops/plazas come from ywamers)..there's a nearby walmart and target with shuttle service or you can ask staff for a ride.. basically its jam packed schedules and you have to plan schedules to get around town...in the future, we'll rent cars and scooters for some exploring... woohoo!
i told some ppl already back at home but it feels like the show "lost" here.. where we're like in a bubble and we're just crazy for Jesus :)... i mean there's a library, cafe here, prayer room, kids going to school, you can do laundry, atm, even a boutique (its all free! stuff ppl left behind.. i picked up some shirts for outreach and work duty where i can get dirty in), mail service, gym, hmmmm what else am i missing? but you get the point... there's ppl everywhere and so much to do! its sincerely a glimpse of heaven here.. they practice the gifts a lot so its wonderful to see sisters and brothers praying for each other, getting healed, seeing visions..all that good stuff :)
God sure has been humbling me a lottttt here... i've been repenting like never before for many things and just so thankful that God gives me 13849034384 chances...His grace is surely enough. It can definitely get uncomfortable here sometimes but i know He's stretching me for a greater purpose.
prayer requests:
- trusting in Him always through the adjustments He takes me to
- to have a teachable and humble heart
- my health- to never be sick! the food, water, and weather here is giving me some acne and skin tone bumps :(
There's a reason why this school is called university of the nations.. top 4 nations here are the US, canada, korea, and norway... there's so many nations here and its a beautiful thing to see all of the nations come together and worship Jesus.. i probably can't go to all the nations in my life but having the nations come to me so to speak is a hugeeeee blessing! we're all so different, with different backgrounds and stories but we all have one purpose.. to bring revival and change the world~!
stay tuned for more posts...going to town for dinner soon and walking to walmart!
xoxo
